Murakami’s preference of projecting himself in the first person rather than in the third is so far a means not to lie to himself, like presenting himself as he delineates a scene. Thinking or being assured ‘I won’t die tomorrow’ is, for me, lying to myself. The bottom-line is how a liar can be an artist, for an artistic means of expression knows nothing about self-enlargement and vaunting and funnily shining over others. But, fortunately, everyone possesses the same artistic greatness that can be communicated through even such means like self-communing.

Such Void is Inexpressible

Despite being what it's, the dreamy world including the notion of me, my feelings and minds and consciousness, and this body, despite being the only means to reach out to the dreamy experience of infinity, namely the complete negation of such conceptual jumbles or minds or ideas of ours, wading through its quagmire, the repetition, the treadmill, holding on to a faint hope of 'better tomorrow', is really adventurous. For having such a split-second illumination on a so seldom basis, really, I think, even living is an adventure. So you can think you're a hero. Then, if tending to explore further down the meta-world as per one's endowed intuition, if you think you're doing more than just living, then don't forget that you're just dreaming.  

A New Way of Seeing Thee

Awareness

‘The tightness of sentences’, V.S. Naipaul’s words in The Enigma of Arrival, a great work of his that, for me, really proves ‘old is gold’, now dawns on me with an intimation like sense of age, energy. The tightness as so much about being periodic, not flabby, as about being mellifluous, the music. Yes, like any arts, constructing or arranging words is mostly heuristic through the labor—to master over or beyond the normal syntax, to be able to present something unique, multi-layered, captivating... Yes, it’s nothing other than being aware of oneself so far but through aging. 

I Care for the One Who Has Shaped Me

Apart from great India’s pluralism, namely spiritual, that His Holiness the Dalai Lama has been voicing for as an epitome for the rest of the world, there are Indian openness, generosity, stint, veracity as of the same attribute, namely as of her inimitable diversity. As for her openness, not like others who say something and do something else, or something like letting enter just the vestibule, she is stereotyped as something else. But by those who is cocksure of his mere narrow theoretical knowledge, like he could say as if he were there. And here in Paris even a Chinese restauranteur, the one from a remote nook of China, so desperate about just money here, just broken French even after being here for decades, can dare to have an odious say on India. Why? Because he or she has learned so, like rape cases. Why? Because of India’s freedom of press. Then what more to say on China’s media here, you know it so well. Leave aside democracy and autocracy and famous fancy label like ‘happiest’, name one country which is more open, generous than India? If there are such ones, why more of face-fuss and formality in place of veracity, substantiveness?

Through my searching for Tilleul (lime fruit) facts online, whoop now like having developed a sense of physical energy, so a postprandial effect, ageing you can't disagree, I happened to hark back to my friend Ahtsang Khunchok's small venture here in Paris, a grab-and-walkaway outlet, a Tibetan kitchen in the metro station premises (Metro 13 Carrefour Pleyel, Direction: Saint-Denis Université). I visited it recently. So impressive, venturous, leave aside the friendly Tibetan vibes, I was really impressed by his curt remark: Why work under someone. There no time for enumerating those homemaking things I used to do in other simpler habitations back in India, at a Tibetan camp, namely an obsession of mine, appraising each valued piece of furniture or electronic home appliance in my own estimation, and wondering about the labours and fusses and thrills and why not money afforded for each, so daunting to me.

Yes, here, I want to say the present brand of his small enterprise is Bon Traiteur that he is thinking to change into Tibetan Kitchen. I found the stuffs delicious, home-cooked. Yes, as to indulge myself, from the restaurant proper, as it is one floor subterranean, I saw a flight of wide concrete steps on two sides leading up onto the concourse before a skyscraper, with more busy scenes on all sides. Yes, what I want to say is about those scurrying past to mount the steps or those dismounting them: they are themselves telling stories, those myriad souls' cries fading away unheard of, maybe without the means of an expression, maybe so much scattered despite toying with gizmos. I am always impressed with the idea of seeing a face once in my lifetime, so many such faces, as so odd I found my being here. Why here?
